Urge Your MoC’s to Pass the DETER Act

The DETER Act would punish any nation that tries to influence a US election, adding extra sanctions against Russia if it once again tries to interfere.

Call: Your House rep and your two Senators (look up) Script: Hi. I’m from [ZIP] and I’m calling to ask if you’ll vote to pass the non-partisan DETER Act.

Advocate for Transparency in Political Ads

Democracy thrives when all citizens can freely elect those who represent their values. If you value secure, convenient voting and fair elections: 

Call: Your 2 senators and 1 House rep (look up).

Script: Hi. I’m from [ZIP] and concerned about Russia’s influence on our upcoming midterm elections.

Stand with People of Color and Their Right to Vote

Democracy thrives when all citizens can freely elect those who represent their values. If you believe in secure, convenient voting and fair elections, take action and stand with people of color to protect the right to vote. 

Call: Or write your state’s election official (look up) and governor (especially IL).
