Fathers Fighting for Healthcare

Ahead of Father’s Day, dads with children who have special health care needs, chronic illness or disability will be delivering their message to Senators Corker and Alexander that for their kids, and our state, they must vote NO on the American Health Care Act.

Everyone is encouraged to come (including children), lunch will be provided, letters and pictures of children will be delivered to their offices.


PRIDE Feminist Trivia Night- July

Please join the Nashville Feminist Collective for a PRIDE-themed Feminist Trivia Night on July 1 at the Lipstick Lounge!

You’re welcome to arrive early to get a seat, order something to eat or drink, and brainstorm team names with buddies old and new. The questioning will begin promptly at 5:00 and feature questions about LGBTQ+ folks in a wide variety of topics (pop culture,literature, politics, current events, art, music, film, TV, sports, feminist theory, history, health, science, and more) with a focus on the experiences of women and gender-expansive people.

Tenx9 Nashville Storytelling: “People Move”

Tenx9 Nashville is a Belfast-originated monthly community storytelling night where 9 people have up to ten minutes each to tell a real story from their lives.

In June, we will partner with the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition to tell 9 true stories of Our theme is “People Move.” Do you have a story of immigrating?


Nashville Together Public Forum

Nashville prides itself on being a warm and welcoming city for all people, no matter where you’re from or how you got here. But in the face of mass deportations, many Nashvillians feel unsafe and isolated in our city. We need new policies to build trust in Nashville and to keep families together.

In this meeting, the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition [TIRRC] will share info about and ways to support their #nashvilletogether campaign, which will limit Nashville law enforcements’ interaction and cooperation with ICE.

We’ll also have some time to get to know each other, share updates, introduce new folks to the work of SURJ, and take action together!
