Senator McConnell announced that he is delaying a vote on TrumpCare until after the July 4 recess, and it would not have happened without the constituent pressure that we’ve seen all across the country. But delayed does not mean the bill is dead; it means this recess will determine whether the bill dies once and for all or lives to see another day.

Sit-In to Stop TrumpCare

Today’s a big day in resistance/defense of healthcare. There are sit-ins in senators’ offices in several states. Below are the specifics for Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado (just added), Florida, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

On Thursday, July 6th, the Nashville Metro Council will be casting it’s final vote on BL-739. The ordinance would protect immigrant residents and ensure that city agencies aren’t helping with deportations.
