Stand Against Racism

April 21 @ 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM

April 21 @ 12:00 AM

The YWCA will partner with more than 70 YWCA Associations throughout the country to Stand Against Racism, with the goal of bringing people together from all walks of life to raise awareness that racism still exists. Last year approximately 200,000 people nationwide took a Stand Against Racism and we hope to grow that number at this year's event. We invite you to join the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee in taking a stand for peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Our public event will include a keynote address by Bishop Vashti McKenzie and live music from the Mishaw Family Singers. For more information and to take the pledge against racism, visit
