On Tuesday, September 26th, you’re invited to After School Special at Grimey’s Too / Howlin’ Books on 8th Ave in Nashville to celebrate National Voter Registration Day and the launch of online voter registration in Tennessee. Organizations across TN are joining forces to move the Volunteer State from the bottom to the top of U.S. voter participation for 2018’s legislative, gubernatorial and municipal elections. Let’s register to vote to raise our voices on election day!

Nonpartisan org HeadCount will be on-site with election info and multiple ways to register. This family-friendly event will feature activities for the future voters too including an art station, a Go Bonanza photo booth, and after school snacks by pastry chef Danielle Veit. For the adults, we’ll have wine courtesy of the new Village Wine and Spirits and beer from East Nashville Beer Works.

You can also register from 9am to 3pm at any Barista Parlor location and from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Cloud IX Nashville and at Plaza Mariachi.

Brought to you by BriteHeart, HeadCount, Band Together TN, The Equity Alliance, Southern Women for Civil Rights, Healthy and Free Tennessee, and Hispanic Family Foundation.
